Ohoka

Shortly before his death in 2022, Christopher Marshall donated this sculpture from his extensive art collection to the Waimakariri Public Arts Trust who placed it in the Ohoka Domain as a memorial to him. This is one of Watson's kinetic sculptures.

He was born in 1961 and in 1993 completed a Diploma in Craft Design from the ChristchurchPolytechnic. In 1994 he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth 11 Arts Council New Craft Artist Grant.He has exhibited in individual and group exhibitions throughout New Zealand.
